Port Hueneme Backlog

My M3 hit port hueneme this past wednesday on the Oberon. I just learned that the boat (Toscana) prior to the Oberon was delayed a couple days and so both boats arrived at port basically at the same time. Hueneme now has a backlog of 12,000 cars they need to process and deliver

Does anyone know how many cars the employees at Port Hueneme process on a daily basis?

my m3 was on the oberon as well!

My sales said it should be @ long beach bmw ETA 9/13... its cleared customs yesterday

Lucky you since you're local. Since mine still has to go north, it takes another couple of days after it gets onto a truck

Call your sales guy, it may be there today. Just got a message from a fellow member who bought an M3 from the same dealer as me and he just got a call from his sales guy saying his car just arrived and they're prepping it now for delivery later today or tomorrow

Yes, the first of the Oberon vehicles has finally come home. It was a long four months, but it's over now. A couple of crappy iPhone photos (in harsh light) are attached. I'll try to get some better ones in the next few days.

Believe it or not, that's not tint. That's just an effect of the rear sunshade. I guess it does a pretty good job of keeping the back seats dark. I think I'm going to go without tint this time around, as I don't like the front-light, back-dark look and my full tint last time around made me somewhat paranoid...

An effect it is. The front windows look tinted too. How many miles on that bad boy already?

The windows themselves do seem to have some light tint from the factory. Perhaps it's some sort of heat-rejecting coating. It's actually kind of nice.

It only has about 40-50 miles so far, as I don't want to drive it too much before having paint protection film applied to the front. There's still plenty of time to break it in.
