DALLAS AREA! I need a shop to replace/install chrome lip on 3-piece forged wheels.
If I have the chrome lips for the two 360 forged wheels that need fixing, does anyone know of a local shop that could remove and install these chrome lips and seal them? How much would something like this cost for two wheels?

I definitely would not send it back to 360 that's for sure.

Might want to contact Wheel Experts...they might be able to direct you to a good place.

1. Purchased my supposed "practically new" wheels here: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=227434 2. Didn't ask for wheels to be repainted and yet after payment I was told he will ship them to 360 to be "re-balanced". Obviously not ready to be shipped as stated in sale. 3. During the course of the next month and a half, I was told numerous times that the wheels would ship from 360 by Miguel, but they never did. Each and every time I've called (over 15 times) I got a new story and a new piece of infation about my wheels (never good info). 4. It went from just re-balancing to repainting all the centers and resealing of the chrome lips. I was even told that one of the centers was cracked and had been re-welded by another shop prior to them receiving these from JEMarsal. Since this was unsafe he replaced the center on this wheel. But JEMarsal assured me that Miguel had his wheels mixed up. All the while I am being assured by Miguel as well that the wheel will be "like brand new". 5. Told Miguel not to mount the tires to speed up shipping...guess what, mounted tires anyways and caused another week of delay. 6. Finally get my wheels delivered close to 2 months later and not in the condition as described by JEMarsal in PM communication nor the condition in his pictures. Neither are they "like brand new" like Miguel had said. Here are some pictures of the issues http://www.m3post.com/forums/album.php?albumid=1114. List of issues: - Balancing weights fell off of two wheels while unpackaging. - Center caps all scrathed up and some dents. - One front wheel had many tiny chips in the chrome lip and a bad circle scratch. - Another front wheel had slight impact damage at two points, one bad enough to cause the chrome lip reflection to be warped. This same wheel has slight rippling of chrome as well. I have lost all trust for JEMarsal and Miguel. They are both friends and I feel like a got worked over by both of them. Miguel was aware of the scratches and chips but didn't feel they were bad enough to bring this to my attention. Obviously JEMarsal knew about this and never revealed this to me when I asked numerous times about the condition of the wheels. They are claiming that the dent in the wheel was caused during shipping, so now I am waiting on 360 to get an answer from the shipper if they will fix the damages. The issue with the dent is between 360 and the shipper. I don't know why I need to wait for 360 to get an answer from the shipper. JEMarsal told me he would replace the center caps for free, but I haven't heard him mention anything about the chrome lip with the many rock chips. Whats the moral of this story. I guess I got caught up in the pretty pictures 360 Forged is posting all over the place. The 360 Forged folks have their little army of supporters helping spread the hype. JEMarsal was leading me to believe that I was getting what was pictured in the photoshoot. Him being friends with Miguel didn't make things better for me either, because it that much harder to trust them when they keep chaning their story. I paid a fair price and expect to get the wheels into the "pristine" condition that JEMarsal told me they were in. Before anyone calls BS on this...I have PM proof of all my conversations with JEMarsal. Most all early communication with Miguel was done over the phone so he lucked out there. I'm not blaming all of this on 360. Most of this could have been avoided had JEMarsal been more truthful. 360 Forged definately has some customer service issues. They do sound and act friendly on the phone though, but they are bad at returning calls and good at telling you false status information. I must say though, that the one wheel they replaced the chrome lip on and repainted the center looks pretty good. |

Why would you bash me when the bent lip occurred during shipping? You and 360 are already making a claim with the shipping company How is it my fault it got bent? And the center caps I told you I would get you their new aluminum ones. Why wouldn't you wait till after we handled the situation to bash me? Give me a chance to respond at least. I have no afilliation with miguel. I don't even live in Miami! I just feel it was immature the way you handled the situation. We just spoke about this the day before yesterday. It takes a little longer for a claim to go through with the shipping company and to get you the center caps.

I understand your frustration....like I said I'm trying to get everything fixed perfect. As I said in pm. I'm very sorry for the wait as 360 has been going under new management and we had the big delay. I know you waited a while and the wheels arrived damaged from shipping so I conpletly understand your frustration. But don't worry we will get it taken care of.

I had sent an email to wheel technologies a few days ago...but they haven't replied. I think I will be shipping the wheels back to 360 anyways because of other repairs besides the chrome lips. Just let them take care of it all at once.
