I ordered and received one a while ago and was finally getting around to installing it as I am going to drive across the state and figured I did not want the risk of getting ticketed for not having a front plate.

Can someone explain to me about popping the tow hook front bumper cover (2011 E90 M3)?
The manual says to push the top portion of the cover. I push it and it gives way but nothing else releases. I think if I push any harder, I'll break the cover. Can someone give me idiot instructions on how to remove the cover without any damage? And once released, is it obvious how to re-attach? I plan on removing the front plate after my trip.

Thanks.

you can also use a plastic trim tool and just "pop" it out!
