C7 Corvette pricing revealed - its going to kill every other sports car on value!

The Edmunds video's best part was the revelation that this Vette did 1.08g. That's nuts, especially considering that it's the base model (not a Z06 or ZR1). The only flaw is that it looks like it was designed by a hormonal 14 year old boy who is into comic books.

Will it only come in manual or is there going to be a DCT one as well? With DCT it'd be a monster on the track.

There is a choice of a 7-sp manual and a 6-sp automatic. There is no DCT as of right now. Rumor has it GM is working on an 8sp auto that will match or better a DCT.

After watching the review, i am still not ready to jump on the corvette wagon. i would however consider a c7 Z06. Thats really the only corvette i like. I just hate how mainstream corvettes are.

I don't find the car hideous considering everything on it is functional...fact. Or at least that's what they say.

I dont see many e9x m3 or even e46 m3s. I see more C7 vettes on the road than i do M3s. I don't even think vettes are open to the public yet lol. but really i am not kidding about that C7 thing. saw 2 last week.

True location is big but generally the m3 is a very mainstream car all over

Come down to a city like Houston, TX and you will run into plenty of M3's both E46 and E9x. This is considering that Texas is very much a muscle car heaven.

Also, I never get people who buy cars for exclusivity. Its like trying to prove to others I am better then you because I have a car that no one else has. Who cares.....LOL.

If you are the only one who owns a car that is not so great then it is still not a good car no matter how you cut it. A great car is a great car no matter how many people own it period. Plus, the fun is modifying the car to make it look like yours. To give it that personal touch.

I have never been into Corvettes but this is the first one that is designed with some stylish functional aggressiveness in exterior. Also, the interior belongs in a $50K plus car. So looking forward to driving one in person.

No but I would bet within a couple of thousand of the current Z06... which is consistent with the current car vs the C6.

Being from Canada, we are getting ours after the US orders. I don't expect delivery until February/March... which means it will sit in the garage until April.
