Today I drove a frozen grey M3 DCT that had these red brake calipers. The car is part of the Welt's "BMW on Demand" rental program. costs 34 euros for one hours worth of fun! I was wondering why the car I drove had such a loud exhaust! lol

Looking at those pictures... that's not the M Performance Exhaust.

Compare the thickness of the tips to the ones in the first pictures and the other pictures on the forums and you'll see that the M Performance Exhaust has really thin walls.

Wonder if the prior Edition cars (frozen gray, frozen black, etc) have some other non-stock exhaust... or maybe they are stock?

I changed my mind on this color, or any matte color in fact, when I saw the last top gear, The Stig had to stop and got beaten by an RS5 because he had to wipe off bugs on the hood... Hilarious..!
too much work to maintain...

The "Rental M3" (BMW on Demand) had winter tires/wheels bc you have to have those on any car in Germany in winter time (temps <7' C) otherwise you can be ticketd and found at fault when in an accident. I have no idea on the other stuff.

I do know this "rental car" had one loud raspy exhaust! When I first stated it up it sounds like a tuned V8 with headers on it. Very sweet. I did take a video. Maybe I should post that. ?
