The exhaust note alone is worth buying the car for.

Why do I feel like 380hp is a little bit low? It claims 457 but it loses 77 HP to the wheels?

If claimed 457 at the crank, 380 at the wheels gives a 17% drivetrain loss. Respectable.

That's about right. Dynojet will lose about ~20%. Dyno Dynamics and Mustang will be more.

What does the new M3 dyno? In straight line, the C63 kills the M3 and its a heavier car, SO it seems to me like 380rwhp is too low.

By the way, that car is so fuckin hot. Just wanted to say that.

The 6.2L AMG V8s have to be run in to extract full power. If it's a new engine, it's not going to put down good numbers.

+1

Exactly. That is why I mentioned the fact that it was newly delivered. The non-broken-in engine does not put down the numbers the broken-in engine will be ultimately capable of.

15% loss is not bad at all.

aren't 335is around 260whp to the wheels? thats around 15-16% loss as well.

It won't handle like crap. Not as good as the ///M3, sure. Saying it handles like crap, crazy.

It would run circles around our 335i's.

Wow, I guess I see it differently. The blackened headlights combined with the dual power bulges makes it look like it's scowling.

I don't think these are going to be typical of AMG handling. It looks like a lot of time and effort went in to making the steering more precise, and the suspension less floaty. I'd probably still take an M3 (haven't driven the C63 so I don't know for sure), but considering they are MSRP'ing for such a bargain...
