Best looking E9X M3?

I myself ordered the e92 coupe. If the rear lights on the E90 were similar to the E92 or more attractive (i know this is personal opinion), then I would have most likely ordered the E90 for it's practicality...but the rear lights are the main reason I went the coupe way.

Sometime I also wonder why would BMW do this and change the look of the lights/shape on the coupe vs sedan, and lose customers, by going the Audi or Benz way based on styling, etc.?

back in the E36 days, the coupe and the sedan had similar styling, including not so different rear lights, and I if i was in the market back then, I would have easily ordered the sedan with no regret, since they were not so different!!

I think the sedan looks great! You could make the case that the exhaust flows better on the coupe but the rear end is beautiful on both.

I feel like the sedan only looks aggressive with the competition package, while the coupe maintains its aggressiveness with/without the Comp. Package.

I have grown fond of the way the sedan looks esp. on how aggressive the rear end looks compared to how smoothed out the coupe's rear quarters look. Give it a good drop and some nice wide wheels with meaty tires and a CSL trunk lid, it will draw eyes.

I had the coupe and honestly I didn't like the rear in general. Not the lights, but the overall look. I thought it was the rear bumper that was too high...I couldn't really pin what it was but my e46 rear flowed a lot better.

I know this is personal, I just wished they made the rear more aggressive. The front looks amazing, side is beautiful and rear looks like a 335is with a quad exhaust.

But back on topic, if I'd do it all over again...I'd buy sedan.
