American Le Mans M3

They had the ALS race on ABC at 1:30 today and the M3 placed 2nd in the GT2 class. There were tons of M3 commercials shown during the breaks.

That's an extremely impressive showing for their 2nd race. GT2 is pretty crowded with a lot of competition, making it all the more impressive. Kudos to Rahal/Letterman.

Next year, it'll get even more intense with the factory Corvette C6R team going down from GT1 to GT2, with a de-rated engine. GT1 will likely just disappear, since since the only other competition was an occasional Aston-Martin.

I was watching them fell asleep lol
did the gt3 rsr come in first?
if so I say it was a great race for the M3
I remember the announcer saying that since the e92 is such a new platform, with time for improvement, it might just be a winner

'vette will move to GT2 later this year. Next year will be their first full season. GT2 has really turned into a great class.

Didn't realize it was this year. All the better, and I agree ALMS is going to be fun to watch in the new GT class.
