HRE R40's Installed

Disclaimer: The car hasn't been washed in a while due to the weather but hey, here it is!

It's surprising how much smoother the car is with these vs. the stock 220M wheels. Overall I am very impressed with these wheels and look forward to getting it on the track next weekend!

HRE R40 in Brushed Tinted Clear

18x9.5 +26, 19.6lbs - Michelin Pilot Cup 265/35/18
18x10.5 +28, 20.6lbs - Michelin Pilot Cup 295/30/18

Pictures of just the wheels are here

Congrats - look great!

As a suggestion, you may want to pop the center caps for the track. My HRE Fall-Lines seem to lose caps easily and they charge an arm and a leg for replacements. (lost 4 this year alone - and only 1 was on the track)

Thanks, these are track wheels chosen for weight and tire selection so 20 wasn't really an option for me.

Good idea - I may also try to just secure them a bit better, thanks.

Also thanks for the complements everyone - I really like the wheels and the contrast without being too loud.

The car looks exceptionally clean compare to mine! Those are REALLLLLLY nice looking wheels! Where did you pick them up, and may I ask about the financial, um, "investment" you made?

Thanks - I bought the wheels from Simon@Renn-Spec and he gave me a very fair price. Shoot him a PM and ask for a quote on Jeremy's HRE setup

MSRP is about 5200 though.

^ Wow, price isn't that bad actually considering the weight savings and how 'boutique-esque' people consider these wheels.

The car looks beautiful. Should be very enjoyable on the track with this wheel/tire combination.

Please follow up with some pictures of your car out in action.
