the CD player in the new m3 doesn't play burned CDs?

Is it just me or the CD player in the new m3 doesn't play burned CDs?
Anybody experiencing this?

it depends on what format you burned the CD. make sure it is an acceptable format. i.e. i don't think it will play .AAC files.

Use iTunes to burn the CD's the next time...

that's what I did.
I also tried Nero.

The weird thing is these burned CDs plays in other cars just fine.

Audio CD..
it plays on all other cars and my home CD players that doesn't support MP3 CDs.

On occasion. There's many stories out there of certain brand CD players that don't like certain brands of CD-Rs... Don't know why, they just don't get along. Try another brand, couldn't hurt. I've never had an issue with Memorex or Sony

yes, it does..

hmm....
I seems like there are two things I need to try..

1. try to burn a CD in MP3 format
2. try Sony or Memorex branded CD-R

okay, #1 didn't work..
I even try to copy the whole CD using (well...) Copy CD commend, no luck...

The only thing left is trying #2...

This is very weird...

If you tried Nero and it did not work either then I would say item #1 above is your issue.

The exact same thing happened to a friend of mine with a Honda Civic and his MP3 CD's; using iTunes to burn MP3 CD's fixed his problem. However, VW MP3 OEM HU doesn't have any issue playing MP3 burned in either Audio or MP3 CD format using iTunes.
