These chinese companies even have offices in LA to help distribute their products. Their parts are actually of very high quality and I have not seen any instance where there has been a catastrophic event like this when using their parts. MHT is no different than any of the other manufacturers. They also source from these 2 companies which they use to build your ADV.1 wheels as well.

You want to help your company? Post a certificate from STL Labs or any SAE/DOT certified lab where this specific wheel style, size, fitment and offset was physically tested and certified and and at what load rating and then you can blame your supplier for a part failure. Otherwise, ADV.1 is entirely to be blamed as this is the result of ADV.1s poor engineering and design, lack of physical/structural testing and lack of certification. If you tested the wheel, where are the pictures of the tested samples? Where are the certificates? I doubt that even an FEA was done on this part. After 2 years we are starting to see the catastrophic failures. You are manufacturing one of the most crucial components in a vehicle where a product failure could result in a fatality. Safety and quality standards should be the #1 priority.

And please don't challenge my post, because I`ll post information that will embarrass you. Cut the BS, state facts and stop putting blame on everything else and putting ADV.1 like the holy grail.

Yeah you may have been here since NOV but this is your second post. You actually say you will purposely embarass ADV1. Seems to me you hav a lot of knowledge and an agenda. Maybe a competitor????? Or posting for a competitor????

J was out yesterday from the office as he got sick at St. Pete's this past weekend. He's in the office today and you should have his direct number - you can always reach me at x108 or email me at matt@adv1wheels.com. We're certainly not trying to give you the silent treatment and if you have any problems you can call ANYONE at the office as we all are aware of your situation and want to help as best we can.

Call me a skeptic but I have some doubt that you guys have an actual real M.E. with a degree from a real engineering school who is regularly looking at your designs for a structural integrity and safety point of view.
Matt: I hate to pester but I really want to know the answer to this. In the business to business professional world I work in engineers regularly publish and present - conferences, journals, classes, etc. I realize this is not quite the same situation as you are business to consumer more or perhaps business to distributor. Some believe a great deal of this in the B2B world is just "posturing". However, it is not really posturing in a negative way. It is done so their customers, perhaps other engineers or perhaps program managers, etc. are constantly reminded of the prowess and capabilities of the company, their engineering and their products.

In this spirit of openness, and due to the multiple people asking the same question, I think it behooves you to directly address my query above.

While I think it is good that you put the information out there, there really isnt a need to continue putting this type of info on here.
Correct me if I am wrong, but handle your business with them and let us know the outcome. You dont have to post every single bitch/gripe now. You have a direct contact to the entire crew to include the boss/owner right?
I get it, their customer service needs work, check. No tuv, lied about it, check. It just seems like it is immature to continue to post every time they dont call you back within 10 min. You got plenty of attention with this and now I am sure they will at the very least TRY hard to make it right because plenty of people are following this waiting for the end result...

Jordan addressed this in the JWL thread here:

Perhaps they'll take a picture of them holding the check as well.

The banks check paper was made from Chinese trees and wasn't engineered for the forces of actually writing on it and there was a failure. It was just for that check and one other.
