[QUOTE=Chowster;8862870]

LED interior - I changed all the interior bulbs to white LEDs from the yellow-ish incandescent bulbs. Matches the LED door handle welcome lights, rear plate lights, and my LED AEs of course. Which lights? Door puddle lights, footwells, overhead domes, glove compartment, trunk, and visor vanity.

Here's where I started, with a thread by Kev, but he uses some serious imported Japanese bulbs. My conversion was probably ~$120 total, with the Luxer1 dome lights the most expensive at $35 each (post 5).

EDIT: OK, I give up on the iPhone app.

My comments were to the effect, that the interior LED lights looked really good, however the dome lights would be too bright for me, but the footwell and puddle lights looked really sharp.

James

I thought the dome led was going to be crazy bright too. I was pleasantly surprised. I'll try and get a representative pic soon.

Here's some pics. I apologize for the iphone quality. Photos 3/4 were taken this morning inside my garage, door open, early daylight.

Of note:

Photo 1 - Weisslicht LED AEs; IND reflectors; fried egg signal look
Photo 2 - Fried egg gone (silver bulb); IND black grilles, carbon fiber plate frame; Alufelgen CS7 wheels
Photo 3 - Luxer1 LED domes - compared to incandescent lighting in my garage in the background
Photo 4 - footwell and puddle LEDs - compared to garage incandescent yellow coming through the windshield.

Thanks James and Sharo. Those tiny parts keep adding up...

And since it seems like this is the first sunny day in Vancouver since I picked up my car on Dec 31st, here's my first sunny photo!

Wow. Do you really not have any tint On your front windows? It really seems like it in that picture.

Your driveway and garage hint at a beautiful home, and I'm very jealous of the complete absence of snow and ice in that picture.

SS II looks fantastic in the sun.

Are those ZCP rims painted gunmetal, or after market ones?

M3 looks awesome btw!

50% up front, 35% in the back. Looks darker with the black interior. And it's never sunny here, so it's even darker most of the time!

Thanks for the compliments on my house! Love the SSII in the sun. Great colour, hides alot of minor dirt, but I do find my trunk and rear section to be VERY dirty quite quickly - perhaps a combination of rain and exhaust?

Thanks OverDrive! Those are 19" Aulfelgen CS-7 wheels in gunmetal. A nice economical wheel for my winter setup. I think the tires cost more than the wheels! Same 8.5 and 9.5" widths as the ZCP wheels. I have 235/35 and 265/35 Dunlop Wintersport 3Ds mounted. They're a little narrow for the wheels, but I didn't want 255/275 winter tires.

I'll be running my stock 220Ms with P Zeros in the summer.

Nice...I have the same winter tires and love how they perform on the snow.
