I don't think you need the forum members to say that it's mismatched. Even from the photos it's quite obvious. I am surprised you took it back. I would have told them to paint the rest of the car.
Sorry but that's such a poor job and I believe white is an easier colour to match. Was this an authorized BMW paint shop? |

Expected better from a high end European specialist shop with over 17000 likes on Facebook . Now I will have to go out of my way and be without a car until it's matched properly. I will try and get a refund and get the exact same panels resprayed again by bmw's own bodyshop in five dock.
Not to mention that my right hand side comfort access doesn't work anymore after I picked the car up and it used to work before . Also poor buff job as whole car was meant to be buffed and polished, roof feels rough , I think they forgot to buff it |

Did they color-match to the existing paint, or just go off the paint code? It's my understanding that color matching gives better results on a car that isn't brand new or wasn't a garage queen.

Would have thought solid white should be as easy as it gets to match but maybe Im wrong. Regardless I would refuse to accept that work OP. Must give tears in person the way it shows even on photo.
Id shase them to repaing the parts rather than the complete car. Good luck! |

Ye told them not to touch entire car, just respray same panels again. Very helpful workshop , they are prepared to work with me until in happy , let's hope the next respray is spot on

A buddy of mine paints for BMW and told me that most newer Alipine White cars (AW 300) come in 3 different shades from the factory. He can tell just by looking which one will match. They mix the paint accordingly in house. Any half decent shop should be able to match it up.
