Looks awesome, you have twins?

I have twin 15mos old daughters, and need to get some car seats too.

Have you tried it in the center back seat? I am looking at getting a pro sport and would like to know if it can be placed in the middle seat of the E90 and still leave room for two other people in the back seat. Thanks.

I haven't tried my pro-sport in the center on it's own, but I would suspect that it'll be QUITE a tight fit with two people on either side.

Unless you are putting VERY skinny people in there, it won't work. It was a tight fit with the seat in the middle in my e60 M5, the e90 is even narrower.

BTW, also if you use the middle position, LATCH anchors are meant to be used in pairs, so you don't want to use the inboard hook of the outside latch anchors, use the seatbelt in the middle

Recaro childseats are readily available at US retailers (even Target.com) ergo, they are legal for use in the US. They are not, however, legal for use in Canada, thus explaining their unavailability here. Transport Canada regs are a little different than DOT.

However, they are the only car seats that will fit in the back of a 911 (any 911) or most, if not all convertibles to my knowledge.

They look great by the way. Are these the updated version of the Young Sports? (which I have but am not using )

quick question - does the 5 pt harness come off to convert to a regular booster seat on the recaro ProSport?

Nice! I have one as well in my E90, but the little dude's feet kick the back of the passenger's seat. So, I know the same has to happen for you. Tie the shoe laces together and strap the feet the the chair is how I handle it. Sure, some say bondage, I say, you're sick. Nice!

Just get a seat cover and you will be fine. Sometimes I don't even use one and a decent interior cleaner cleans it right up.
