Should I purchase 1989 325iC?

Hi there,

I'm entertaining thoughts of purchasing a 1989 Silver/Black 325iC.
Here's the information I have on the car:
195,000 miles
Front-end work (tie rods. struts) within 4 year period.
New Cat/exhaust this year.
Rear Shocks, 2006.
Timing Belt is coming due.
The car has a hard top too.
Very good tires.
Not sure why current owner wants to sell (may be for financial reasons)
Asking price $2300.
