2009 E92 M3- price check (very low miles)
Hi, looking for feedback on an M3 that interests me a lot.
2009 M3 Coupe 6,500 miles (Wow) Interlagos blue exterior, fox red interior 6MT (a must for me) Nav, Premium, Heated Seats, EDC, Cold Weather, Tech 18" wheels No comp pkg One owner, local trade (purchase and trade same BMW dealer) 3,000 mile, 60 day warranty Clean Car Fax Asking price: $45,995 Looking at the car this Thursday. How does $44K sound? Prices in the NW have been pretty "competitive" or a sellers market. I"ve been tracking the "How much did you pay for your M3 thread?" and this seems in line with what others have paid (although not many 2009's with this low of miles to compare with). Lots of 2011's however which is the part I was not certain on how much less a 2009 goes for vs. a 2011?

I've been looking in the Southern US, and that price seems high to me even taking the mileage into account. For comparison, there was a 2009 E92 listed with 14K miles for $37,500 in the classifieds here recently with comparable equipment. You can easily get a 2011 LCI car with competition package, combox, etc. and still under factory warranty for less than that if you are willing to buy a car with an additional 20K miles and aren't limited to one geographic area.

I would even take a 40K mile car. Full disclosure---this car has a moon roof which I like due to our fairly long, dark winters here in the NW (lets light in). I realize the real cool guys all want carbon roof but I will not be tracking this car for what that's worth. I'll need to see how that color combo looks in person. It wouldn't work for everyone which is understandable. Cheers.

And sold to me. FYI, @supernova72, it didn't have a moonroof. Very happy with the car.

Haha congrats on the new M3. Guess my dealer wasn't just using high demand as a sales tactic.
Mind sharing what you paid for yours? I just got mine last month for 39k pre tax with 28k miles, still not sure if I should've tried to bargain a little.

I should have living in West Seattle and being so close. I've been debating between a M235i and E92 for quite some time now (have E46 M3 6MT now). Different animals I realize. I won't ask what your final price was--even though I'm curious. Ha. Congrats!!

I was originally looking at a Z4M Coupe, but the one I was interested in was on the other coast, and I was really not relishing the options as far as getting comfortable with the purchase and getting it home were concerned. I saw the e92 when I was in the airport in Atlanta, I made an appointment to see it the next morning.
I paid more than I wanted, but less than they wanted.
