ED - Earliest Date to book Welt delivery

I want to lock in a date for June 20th 2010 for an M3 pickup. Does anyone know how early I can get BMW to confirm this date? I was told told by the dealer that 3 months in advance would be plenty and he said to wait until March. But I am locking down hotels now and need to make sure I get the date.

Also, I picked Monday, because I assumed Saturday and Sunday were not possible? Is the Welt open for pickup during the weekend?

Wait till march until you have info on the LCI.

I am getting my ED delivery in May so I have some info on this. You can reserve your ED spot at the dealer now but pricing is not available yet because any deliveries after 4/15 are MY2011 with LCI changes. The ED pre-reservation form will ask you to pick 3 dates for delivery. However the car cannot be ordered until March or April according to my ED specialist. Hope this helps.

On a side note I thought the Welt is opened Mon-Sat, but no factory tour on the Sat.

How will the LCI affect the sedan, if any? The E90 already had its LCI last year so the pricing in theory should only affect the E92/93's?

Outie- thanks for the info on the pre- reservation. That is what I need due to the fact that I have fixed date to meet a large group in Rome.

Welt Saturday delivery would be the best.

I am not sure, but for the regular 3 series they are getting engine updates.
