credible tint shop in GTA

Anybody can reccommend a credible tint shop in the GTA? I dont want to spend to much but would like good tints? I dont know very much about tints (i.e. what to look for if all material is the same...)

I have used this place in Newmarket before, they use Formula One tint. Their work is not bad, not perfect.

I like Uber Optik tint better though, its thicker and overall a really high quality product. Not sure who installs it in the GTA though.

Huper Optik is done @ Krown on Lakeshore. Very pricey ! You may be looking at $450+ taxes. If you wait for group buy / something like that, then $50 or so is knocked off.

Thanks. My new car needs to get done. It's the best tint.

Anyone used that particular shop before? The install is the most important aspect.

Thornhill Tints does it for around $300 cash. Had a couple of cars done there and they came out perfect.

Read a lot of mixed reviews about this place.

I think it's a hit & miss, depending on who is doing the actual job.

I did considered this place for the Huper Optik job but when they wanted almost $500, I said that's nut. At the end, went to Auto Links for Pinnacle ceramics for $300 + taxes.

Does the kind of tint matter? What's the difference like I've heard of places doing it for 150 cash.

Both the material and the installer matter. There are a few different types use but most people that want quality shoot for the Ceramic tints.. they have more heat reflective properties so you don't need to go as dark, and they shouldn't block signals from your phone or GPS.

You should also choose your installer.. ie how they cut the tint and how they install it to your glass.

I'm by no means an expert in this but this is what i picked up when i was looking for my tint

Different brands also look different, some are darker, smokey, shinier...so see them and see what you like.

Also have different thicknesses.
