best $4 I ever spent

Took my car to the self serve car wash at lunch--$2 to soap up with spray, and then wipe, another $2 to do the final rinse. Salt be gone and she looks like a mirror again!

Those brushes should be illegal. I bring my own buckets and sponge.

Hopefully he just foamed up his car instead of the foam brush.

are you kidding me? those are the best bristles on a brush you can use. gets rid of all the dirt, mud, debris, and even some of the clear coat in seconds.

Seriously. I washed my car once during the winter, and I was amazed at how many little pebbles were still in the brush. I must have come right after an off road truck.

I try to bring my own bucket with sponge, but I can just feel the stares as the person behind me is wondering why i'm taking so long.

lol no.....I use the high pressure soap, but tuck a microfiber cloth under the wiper so it gets soaped too.

After the first 3 min., I then wipe the car with the microfiber....

Then I do another 3 min. of high pressure rinse, and dry off with a chamois....

My concern is that I do leave the salt on for a week or more at a time....just can't get to the hand spray wash place any quicker. I could take it through an automatic wash sooner though but don't want to....

i either wash at home by hand or take it to a full service hand wash place. it's $12-15 to get it washed by hand.

A professional wouldn't recommend a car cover...or I'm pretty sure. Could be wrong but general idea is it will eventually scratch the finish as your car can't be 100% spotless all the time. Dirt and debris can touch the paint
