iPhone 4 Cable for Smart Phone Integration

I got my iPhone 4 on Thursday and my new phone doesn't fit in the iPhone cradle I've been using.

Does anyone know if the following cable will connect the smart phone integration kit to an iPhone 4? http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2

Cheers!

The pins are the same. A little precision filing or dremeling and you are set!

With a little work with a Dremel tool, I was able to get the Iphone 3GS holder to accept the new Iphone 4. Not the greatest job with the Dremel, but works nonetheless. Be sure to use eye proctection as all the small plastic pieces being sanded off get everywhere including your eyes.

Which end of the cradle did you use the Dremel tool on?

I was considering selling my cradle, but this mod is a great idea I'm very tempted to buy a Dremel tool and modify the cradle to get my iPhone 4 to fit.

Thanks again

The majority of the work was done on the connector end as the new Iphone is less rounded than the 3GS. Once I removed the plastic around the connector end to make it more flat I sanded the top part of the cradle so that the top of the Iphone would not hit the top part of the cradle and allow the clip to engage.

No problems with my 08 M3. Just need a cable that fits through the slot in the bumper.
