Press the SOS button in your car and talk to the BMW assist guys. Ask them if you can use your BMW Assist's MyInfo feature. If so, what account is it linked to, etc. Those guys are really nice. If you don't have the SOS button, talk to your dealership.

I LOVE IT!
I just got my 2011 M3 Conv 4 days ago and used it 5 times already....I absolutely love it...I wish there was a quick way to do it using my blackberry mobile google maps. I'm sure google will work on it soon.

what year is your car Ziba? You need to have 09 or later i-drive. BMW assist needs to be active and you should have an e-mail associated to your account. When you are on google maps on PC or MAC, on top of the map it should give you the option "send". When you click it, it gives you choices to where. Choose send to "car" option. Then fill out the info like BMW and your email address you could even change the name on top if it's some one's home address so you know what it is. Then press send. In the car, go in the messages and retrive the info. I use voice comand for that: "messges" It's much faster that way.
I have not tried adding notes to the address, but I guess if it works well, you could techniquely send a text message to the car by using that feature. By the way, I used to know a Ziba in LA over 25 years ago... |

After sending from google successfully, I don't seem to have a "messages" option under Nav or BMW assist? I have a 2009 with the current gen iDrive/CIC.

I think it's under bmw assist. Mine is 2011 so I'm not sure if it's different. If you have voice command, just press your voice command button and say "messages". I hope this helps.

I use it all the time, one of the best features that justifies having the nav system considering how difficult it is to enter in addresses (especially in DC where it has the same road with ranges that you can't see since the text is too long, so takes 15 minutes to setup)
