If you really think that is all you need to make a 335i equal an M3 in performance you are the retard, and I would probably be willing to pay for those mods for you so you could come to a track event so someone can tape me and every other e92 M3 owner (soon to be) bitch slapping you all over the track....

What's up with all this trolls loving the 335is and hating the M3? Are you guys jealous or something? I rarly saw any M3 owner bashing the 335i first. If we were looking at the fastest car in the M3 price category, we could have easily bought the Z06 and call it a day. But, there is more to the car than just straight line performance/ tuning capabilities.
I have never encounter any 335i driver hating on my M3. Actually, they love the car. So stop make the BMW community dirty and leave now.

You guys are soo funny. The handling on the 335 is so crappy you dont even know man. Drive an M3 and then drive a 335 its soo gay. My old 05 6 series is smoother than my bros piece of junk 08 335. I am not saying the car is junk cause I love all bmws but comparing to an m3 its JUNK. thats my opinion people. AGAIN BMWS ALL ROCK!! Not hating on any guys. 335 AND M3 FTW.!!! but actually m3 lol

All this thread is so ridiculous and such a waste of time...I don't even understand how you can try to compare a 335 to an M3, its exactly like comparing an M6 to a 650 or an M5 to an 550 or whatever...Its all about that M logo bro.If you don' know whats all behind that "M", I really feel sorry for u man. And please, if you don't have the 19K missing to get an M3,just don't blame it on us, thats how we do, and we can't help it!!!!! haha

I drove the 335i 10k miles before selling it and by no means is the handling crap but to say you can take a M3 on the track with just KW2 and V3 is just ignorant. Looking at the suspension, an EDC equipped M3 is rumored to be better than TC Kline's coilover system. And if you can some how over look that, you surely can not overlook the open diff in the 335i compared to the LSD in the M3. Lets move on to the engine, how much is the V3 putting out right now? It puts out under the best of condition the same power as a stock M3. With the issues of Progman 29.2 and up, I don't know how you can write all the things you wrote with a straight face.

Anyway, who wants a 70k car with an average 13.0 sec 1/4 mile?
And how long until the DCT tranny starts to fail or the engine? Anyone remember the e46 M3's "incidents"? Constant SMG and engine failures. Shame!

What's the matter with you? Are you upset because the 335i isn't as superior as the M3 or are you upset because you don't have an M3? Both are fine cars, no one doubts that the 335i is the fastest car on the planet (according to E90post) but these comparisons are getting tiresome. If you have a 335i we don't care to hear about it anymore, go post your make believe kill stories and let us go back to secretly hating the C63. |

come on people, the 335 and M3 are both nice cars, but stock for stock the M3 is a superior car, it can be a dedicated track car. Sure if you mod the 335 it'll be faster in a straight line, but still lacks in the braking and handling department, and looks. Yeah you can mod a 335 to brake and handle better too, but at what cost,
another possibility is that it appeals to the individual that loves to support the under dog or make a sleeper per say, or it can be the individual that does not have the $$ to get a M3. I think the best overall evaluation of a great car is when you can track it beat on it, and then drive it home. If your car can do that and beat the other vehicle on the track and then drive home on a regular and reliable basis, then you have bragging rights. |

I can't believe there is so much BMW on BMW hate. Both cars are excellent and almost perfect in their respective segment. I think it comes down to your personal needs, style, and the obvious budget. I'd be very happy with a 335i coupe but i'd be in heaven with the new M3 coupe. Why don't we all just settle this and just admit that both cars are very different and they are one of the best car you can get for their price.
