HELP BBS CHR 20X10.5 on the Front... Does it fit?

Hi all,

I have a chance to get e very nice set of BBS CHR 20x 10.5 ET 24 all around. I know they will fit the back (295/30/20) but would they fit the front if I put 275/30/20 on them ?
Thanks

295/30/20 does not fit front or rear. The tallest tire possible in the rear is 285/30/20.

275/30/20 fits in the rear (along with 285/30/20, 295/25/20, 305/25/20, and possibly 315/25/20 depending on tire brand/model, and wheel size/offset).

The tallest possible tire in front without rubbing is 245/30/20. 255/30/20 is a works as well but it may rub slightly at full lock on the back of the fender liner (worth it for the taller sidewall). 265/30/20 will certainly rub but I would consider it in order to have a decent sidewall height. Lastly at least one forum member has run 285/25/20 in the front on 10" wheels successfully. There is only one tire I know of that's available in that size (Pirelli P-Zero Nero) and even that availability is spotty.

All that being said, 20's suck for a number of reasons. One of the most significant is lack of tire size and tire brand / style / performance level options. They don't perform as well as 19's or 18's and they look over-sized on the M3.
