How is an E90 M3 similar to an E90 328/335i? The thing that separates these cars are their engines and the M3 had a V8 that revs to 8400. Brakes, suspension and so many other things also differ from the "platform" which you say it comes from. That's like saying because a Nascar looks like a Toyota Corolla and has its badging it must have been built around the limits of a Toyota. No, the engines are completely different as is suspension/braking etc.

Keith, I'm amazed by looking at what this thread has devolved into. the troll problem endemic to the "M3 vs." subforum has gone wild. I'm most surprised that WolfinWolf'sClothing hasn't yet littered this thread with some BS comparison to Porsche (give it time, perhaps).
in any case, thanks for posting the vid. I'm bummed I missed last weekend. |

Thanks for sharing, I certainly appreciate it. There are way too many Longwong impostors around here lately and they are just as annoying. Feel free to go to a GM forum, you won't be missed here. There's also no doubt that plenty of us respect what the American companies have been releasing lately.
I appreciate the M3 for what it is, nothing more nothing less. And the fact that yours is a sedan makes it even cooler. Props.
