I see where your coming from.

This is not something you need to worry about.

Your main concern with SC on track should be temperatures which is something we have covered very well with our FMIC.

Wow! This looks awesome.

Random thoughts...

Love ITG filters...surprised no one has used them until now; at least branded as such.

That plenum design, from a purely aesthetic point of view, is gorgeous. I'm sure it is functional also of course ; )

Brackets, integration, etc. looks very elegant!

Very cool to see a screen capture here or there of the modeling, airflow, etc!

I'm not a SC guy, but look forward to seeing these on some cars!

Good luck with the final development gents!

I'm a big fan of the air-to-air intercooler. It's a simpler, cheaper solution and there's no risk of the intercooler hydrolocking the engine!

Wouldn't one be able to insert a mesh screen far enough inside the lower air duct to 1) protect the filter from debree larger than a grain of salt, and 2) not be seen unless up close and personal.

Seems logical if someone wanted to go that far. Just a thought.

Excellent, as that's what's available in my neck of the woods. Your numbers will be an actual representation of the power available, at least for me.

The internal design of the plenum has just been finished. First plenum will be machined shortly so will update then. The block of aluminium weighs 60kgs and will be down to 4kgs by the time it is finished.

Nice! Price it below the competition so that you can re-coop your R&D costs faster by selling more units

edit: just read the "whats the best tune" thread and evolve will be getting my support

Engineering wise air to air just makes sense, for extended use. Don't get me wrong, air to water has its benefits as well - but with water having a higher specific heat (requires more energy to make it shift temperature by 1 degree) heatsoak it more of a concern. Once hot that water will take longer to cool down.

With that said, you can also see the positive side of air to water. All in all the Evolve kit looks great and I can't wait to see it in person. - Nice work guys
