Ever notice how they make the New England Patriots win the Super Bowl whenever there is national/patriotic issues in America?

2001 - World Trade Center attack - Patriots win SB.

2003 - President Bush declares war with Iraq and Afghanistan - Patriots win SB.

2004 - Statue of Liberty was reopened, Bush was re-elected and the dollar falls, America needed its people to be Patriotic and be strong. Patriots win SB.

2014 and 2016 - Nothing spectacular, so i'll give it to them.

2017 - (This season) The kneel downs during National Anthem - Patriots predicted to win SB.

I've never understood the appeal of it. Watching a bunch of overpaid guys play a game. Then you have the hardcore fans which are even harder to understand. Why the fuck are you so excited/pissed because some fucks you don't even know, most of which are not even from your damn state, won/lost a game you had no involvement in???

Give me a cut of their salary if they win and I might get a little exited for sports.
