Reflectors - Carbon Fiber or Space Gray?
I'm contemplating replacing my orange reflectors for my 2011 ZCP Coupe. I've seen pictures of the mounted space gray versions, but have not seen any for the carbon fiber.
What do people think (I already have the carbon fiber rear spoiler, but not the splitters/mirror caps)? Thanks in advance! |

I agree. Color match is better. I don't think I've seen anyone make a real carbon reflector replacement.

Yes, but the orange reflectors look like inflamed and infected zits. Unless you have a fire orange car.

If you wanted to be a purist, CF should be used where it saves weight. I would think that between the OEM reflectors (painted or not) and CF, there is probably little savings.
Another option is to fill the holes on the US bumper.

Painted reflectors for a clean look, the front end will flow better...especially if you don't have a hideous front plate. Use the other OEM CF pieces to tie in with the CF roof.

Whatever blows your hair back...
Body color looks funny because it reveals the lines and it looks out of place, but still better than the orange lens. Clear is the way to go. Functional still and doesn't look like you tried covering something up. |
