Yellow headlights

Is yellow headlight tint legal in california

I read it the same way as you. legal.

As far as I know this is the same in all states: You can't have red lights visible from the front of the car, and you can't have blue lights visible anywhere on the car.

Any other color is fair game.

For now i will probably hold off....I know if i argue it they will just ticket me for tint or exhaust.

Ain't that the truth. Well fwiw I've seen people here running red 'demon eyes', blue angel eyes, straight up black 'tinted tails', and limo tint all around. Even euro plates front and back. Who knows how many times they've been pulled over.
