^ both responses representative of the typical M3 owner...
Perhaps your not jealous of the mods, weather you think they are major or minor, within your financial grasp or not, but jealous of the attention this car is getting over you and your car. Otherwise your response might have been "nice" or something positive. Just thinking outside of the box, enough M3 owner psychology for tonight...

I don't get it. The M3 is a sedan meant for 4 adults.
I'd just get a 997 GT3 and modify as needed if I wanted a track car. Or a 997 GT2, or a used 996 GT2. Or a CaymanS worked over by Farnbacher-Loles for the track. To me, this is just dumb.

Pardon my ignorance, but those in the gallery look like the MOTON Street Sport suspension pictured there, not the Motorsport ones. Not being a player hater, just wanted to know what Turner and customer figured was needed for a full track car.

I thought this was cool for about 5 minutes. Then realized that the money you spend on an M3 is not only for the drive train.
So not only are you stripping what you paid good money for, but you're spending money on making additions to make it track ready. To top it off, one can search the used market and find bargains for a 997 GT3, and with some balls you can get the RS version (by balls I mean more money). For what it is though...Awesome! Simply Awesome! |
