Track Fix?

If you live in northerm parts of the northern hemisphere, what will you do this winter to get your track fix? Play video games? If so, which ones? Will you go four-wheeling or snow-mobiling just to get out and drive something to the limit? Rallycross in the snow? Just curious... bench racing isn't an option

Some NASA/PDA folks are organizing a couple of events over the break. I might make it to one of them.

Cripes, how could I have overlooked indoor karting as a way to get my fix?!?! Oh yeah, because the closest one to me (2.5 hours away in Columbus, OH) closed down three years ago

NJ is pretty far away, but I may try to make it over there if there's a forum-member get-together. I think there's one somewhere in MD as well, but not sure without doing an Internet search.

I looked into openin such a facility several years ago, but PA has some prohibitive family-entertainment laws/rules/regulation that make it impossible... something about public controlled motorized vehicles can't exceed 20mph. Even work-arounds get rejected by the state when a license is applied for (such as making it a members-only facility and charging a minimum annual dues fee, thus making it private, not public).

Thanks!
