Btw, I'm planning a trip for Memorial Day weekend (driving distance only)... and I've narrowed it down to two places: Boston and Nashville. Of course I'll bring my camera along, but I was wondering if you guys suggest going to one city over the other?

Tennessee is always just a place i've driven through to get somewhere else

I want to make my way to Boston some time soon as it seems very neat to me.
guys, let me know if you're going to be in Boston and I'll show you guys around

So... I got Zack's workshop videos re-encoded for the web. I just need to work on the website now before I post the link for all of you... it should be up soon though. Thanks The1 for the videos! FYI, I'm still waiting for the last one to be put up before the workshop is complete.

For those of you who missed the special online photography workshop by Zack, I have recoded the video for web streaming. Personally, I think he did an awesome job explaining the basics in Day 1 and then going onto strobe/lighting stuff in detail, with many examples, on Day 2.

I highly recommend watching the series, because I know I learned a lot, and he's a wonderful instructor!

Anyways, here's the skinny...

Foundations of a Working Photographer
user: clworkshops
pw: teachmezack

Thanks to The1 for providing the HD video feed. Let me know if you come across any technical issues... thanks, and enjoy!

Working my way through the Zack segments, and I noticed a few things:
Zack shoots like I do, using the left eye.
The class was in Seattle! Damnit, I could have been there LIVE!

Woot!!!! picked up my 135 F2L today!!! can't wait to try it out... Much smaller in size then i had expected, but that's good for making it an easier lens to have around people and not making them feel uncomfortable like a big hand canon would.
