And I agreed with you, lol, but at a cost over 100K it better come that way from the factory, so does the P31, dont' take this as insulting your intelligence, I'm just throwing it out there for everyone who's interested in the info, again Weistec recommends upgrading the internals with a Stage 3.

Lol, no idea what you are talking about where is your response stating that? Again, it's not just about to what you may think or know, just general info on the subject, I threw it out there for everyone.

I like that car too, it's a lot easier to mod for big power from the factory, but RWD is always a bitch with big power.
Cant u get the sls internals as an option on the regular c63s?

What impresses me most is what amg is doin with sls black series. Reducing the drivetrain weight even further to spin a 6.2l to 8k rpm. Bmw where ya at?

You would think the big wing on the Black Series hurts straight line racing?

That C63 was also on pump gas tune with that kit just recently installed before the event. I wonder how much more it has in it with a race gas tune and some more boost.

It definitely does. SportAuto measured the no aero C63 PP is faster by 17km/h compared to the BS on the Döttinger Höhe of the Nürburgring.

WOW that's a huge difference. Plus the aero pack looks too fast and furious-ish.

Yes top speed was 287 vs 270 km/h. But around fast tracks the wings, diffusor and flaps will definitely provide an advantage.

Hey Drew,

Wanted to make the event but the car is now on the east coast for the summer.

Have fun at shit sector as both of Jim's cars will be there....the results should be interesting for all!

Not sure, I like the 6.2 and the Weistec setups as much as anyone else, but the S65 still produces more power per liter and revs to 8400rpm, so I guess you could argue pluses for both, but for big power I agree the 6.2L does seem like a much easier route. Either way I'd be happy to own either.

Earl! Good to see you posting over here, I really wanted to see your car in action, with that the very impressive 144MPH trap you hit, your car would do some major damage at the event, but I totally understand why you can't make it, they'll be more so maybe next time and I'm also looking forward to meeting you eventually as well.

Weistec, is a sponsor at the event, which is awesome and exciting for us at Shift-S3ctor. Jim's cars will do extremely well, I'm looking forward to meeting him and the guys as Weistec too. Should be interesting for sure, but I have zero chance against the 1000HP setup! He'll be a good match for a lot of the big HP cars that will be there, Josh's Built Motor Stage 3 Weistec C63 (Silver Dragon) will be there as well, should be epic.

Your right that there is always an event around the corner.

The next planned high speed event for me will be the Texas mile as we should join the 200mph club there. I read something about an event in Chicago in June...might try that if I am in the country.

Sounds good, would love to hit the Texas mile one of these days, I have no doubt that you'll do well there, best of luck.

One thing is for sure, it hurts my eyes.

That's fucked up.

Seems to me that Drew's car is a good match for these Stage 3 C63s. Not bad at all IMO, considering about the same amount of money went into the two cars (if you consider the BS at least).

Sorry i didn't get your point. The BS is a $130,000 car and the M3 costs half of that. If you mean build price, well the VT3 is a built motor while the stage 3 is still a stock motor and judging by the price Mahle asked img, i believe the VT3 costs a few thousands more than the stage 3.

It's still is ricey as hell. The aero stuff on the C63 BS aero pack (and also the SLS BS) belong to Lancer and Sentra. I don't know what the hell has happened to AMG design department, it seems they put some Need For Speed Underground junkies in charge.

Yeah, maybe he just referring to Stage 3 C63 in general. A base C63 with Weistec upgraded internals and stage 3 would probably be a similar build cost to a VT3 M3.

But looks good on video, and have a feel good feeling of what an awesome base car we have in a stock ///3.

Very good for pub bragging. Waste of money for everyday use unless the cars are often tracked, I mean at least once or twice a month in pro events. One won't be able to drive on the streets like that, and it will be a licence to lose the licence.

Guys, drive carefully and enjoy your cars. Thank you for posting the video collection. Awesome

Weistec just released M157 turbo upgrade. They claim 730 whp and wtq. This should be interesting.

That is pricey for stock housing upgraded turbos.
