Detail Photos of Options

I found the text quite small to read on the BMW web site "Build your Own" for the different options on the car I just purchased. Also trying to enlarge the text screwed up the entire screen on my computer. So I made screen shots then saved the files as X.jpec and will share them here for you if you like to read up on it. To enlarge the image simply open the image in a new window then you can read the text. The only image I did not include is the M-DCT since my car will be MT.

I thought this might help some of you out so I am sharing it with you

I know, they do spray all the way back to the trunk and roof ... they are on the car as it sits in the showroom ... one cannot have everything perfect as you know. I will be careful not to hit the switch

PS. re obsessed ... I'll snap out of it I promise by this time tomorrow

Those along with heated seats and side-mirrors are a standard option in Canada.

Nice pics. Most are standard now on 2012 spec Canadian cars, but nice to look at at any rate.

Did NOT know that. I suppose they are useful, but I had them on my Audi S4 and I hated them. Opted out this time.

I wish BMW would equip the Canadian cars with the same speedometer decal (KM & Miles) since we Canadians like to cross the border too here and then going south ... hope the new generation M3's or M4s will have a similar arrangement like my e28 1987 535is, I simply push a little button and readout changes from KM to Miles

That is correct ... I guess it has to do with the cold weather package ... and some changes made for 2012

I did the picture screen shot exercise primarily to help out others and yes of course to pass the time

It's true what they say we learn something new every day, my dad used to ask us on the dinner table "So what have we learned today?"

Yes quite so ... at first I did not miss them then my TomTom kept hiding on me and playing with the phone was not quite safe so I made the decision to upgrade and I am pleased to have found this car with all what was missing

I was just bored or needed something to get my mind off the waiting time for that happy moment to pick up new my car. Also, as I pointed out in the original post it is difficult to read the writing on the Canadian BMW web site "Build your Own" the text ... so since it took a bit of time ... screen shot, reducing size and finally saving the image as a x.jpc file I shared it here. Some people waiting for there new car might enjoy it until they get the detailed manual

The light under the mirror is also referred too as the "clown nose" it actually blinked on my Z4 when the alarm was activated, I have to check if it is the same on my new M3.
