How ugly is that?

Here they are, Dunlop Wintersport 3Ds, staggered, on the bargain A7 wheels.

I've driven only about 10 miles so far, and not in snow, but the ride is quite nice, and not nearly as loud as the Blizzak RFTs on my old 335.

I still want to get some nicer wheels (and some roundels for the winter), but timing was the issue. One shop claimed that UPS does not do express shipping. Whatever.

I have the A7 wheels on right now too (wrapped in Blizzaks LM-25s). They're certainly not the prettiest... but they get the job done. And the ride is certainly cushy. Have fun blasting past AWD folks stuck in the snow - I know I did last winter!

I have the same winter setup haha. They do look terrible and I'm thinking about painting them some rediculous color.

What's taking some getting used to is riding lower. Almost feels like a snub-nose Z4 now (but w more of a roar).

This is the winter setup I just ordered. So far very happy.

Michelin Alpin PA3 245/40/18 on 18x8.5 VMR VB3 gunmetal. 12mm spacer in rear for staggered appearance.

I had to drive like this 2 yrs ago for a week while waiting for spacers. definitively my M's worst week

I have switched since then to oem 19's replica in size 18 and with the spacers you almost can't tell it's a winter setup. I'll try to post a pic of the new setup. I also bought a euro plate and rack that looks much better than this square plate rack.

Here's my current winter setup, replica oem 19's in size 18's coupled with 20mm H&R spacer for the back, all wraped in sottozeros. It looks a lot better than the old setup. you can't really tell it's not the summer oem setup. sorry for the crappy iphone pics

As long as they keep you on the road, that's the important thing,
