FS: 2008 Jerez Black M3 Coupe - 6MT - 15k miles - $44k - Chicago
Price reduced to 44k. New thread located here: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?p=11725357 (Sorry for duplicate thread... Had to make anew thread since the old one still shows $47k in the search results and I can't figure out how to get it to change to $44k) Last edited by lemurofdoom; 04-10-2012 at 02:12 PM.. I can see the beautiful pics no problem, even on the android app...(which often does not work with some people's posts).

no I'm talking about how the m3 badge is incorrectly placed an the paint quality on the rear looks terrible.

I can assure you, the car has most definitely not been rear ended.
If you're a prospective buyer, obviously I would provide the VIN to check carfax (there are no records of accidents), and access to the car for a thorough inspection. As a matter of fact, I had a full inspection performed at a BMW dealership just last week and they said the car was in "great condition." This was the same inspection they perform if they are going to buy the car themselves. |

Don't do it! That's about 800 miles more than me, and even though I'd like to drive it more, every time I do it's a blast!
Bump......

I believe the previous owner had the trunk lid painted due to some kind of ding or blemish. Perhaps the body shop put it back in the wrong spot?
The recent full inspection at the BMW dealership noted slightly thicker paint on this panel, so clearly it was painted. I can't stress enough that they also said very clearly that there was absolutely no sign the car has ever been in any kind of collision. The previous owner was very fastidious with paint maintenance. When I got the car, there was not a single ding or spot on it, despite him owning the car in the city of Chicago. Occasional minor dings or scuffs are nearly impossible to avoid in Chicago, so it's sort of expected that he did a bit of paint cleanup here and there to keep the car looking new. Like I said, anyone interested in buying the car can have it thoroughly inspected, and/or have access to the dealer who already inspected it. I'm quite confident any qualified inspector would find the same thing that the dealer did—that the car has had a few panels refinished, and is in very clean condition, and has NOT been involved in a collision. |

But, I really drive so rarely now that it just seems a shame to have this car sitting in the garage 5–6 days out of the week. I'd really like to see someone get more enjoyment out of it! I used to at least drive it to work, but I don't even do that anymore |
