Solid reasoning and post. I concur...

I agree and have been quibbling with dealers on another car about not wanting any options I won't use. Having said that though, it depends: when I lease a car, if the payments aren't that much more, then I don't mind and generally I find that having a fully loaded car, or pretty loaded car is much easier to move, at least for cars in the higher end of the market (maybe not if you're optioning up a not-so-expensive car and making the price point higher than most people looking at a car are willing to spend).

Don't ya know? Everyone on the internet is filthy rich...

Seriously tho..I agree with what you said as well. Pretty dumb to buy things you don't want or need.

LOL Dealers just love people who shop like that.

I push the M button anytime I want to go for a spin(...): Dampers stiffen to the stiffest, steering to sport-mode(my poor muscles LOL), throttle:sport.
DSC OFF, only me and my limited slip diff + the forces of nature.

That's why I like my E90. A lot. And to get the wife and kids from a to b and viceversa sometimes in a hurry.

In short: Buy the Tech pack man!

Also here in EU for it's resale value(which I paid for in the 1st place I know)

If you are going to track the car definitely get EDC. If its just going to be a daily driver to and from the shops don't bother. For me, EDC is a must and important for resale too
