Miami Monthly Meet 8/3/12

I was thinking about it and really wanted to get something solid going that we could do on a monthly basis. Something that we all could attend and agree upon. So I looked around at a few different locations and found Duffy's up in N. Miami Beach right on the water. There is a large parking lot right out front, and plenty of room for a group to meet. I will arrange everything with the restaurant in advance, but will need a relative head count.

I would consider managing a monthly meet and setup times/locations if there was a real interest out there. This is an invitation to any local car enthusiast, as we all share a similar passion.

I think a Friday night option would be best, especially for those with jobs, kids, responsibilities, etc..

Here is my proposal, and please feel free to critique, comment, etc.

We meet the first Friday of every month at an agreed location (this month, Duffy's) at 8:00PM, shoot the breeze with other enthusiasts in the parking lot etc, then head over to eat/drink.

I think you may be underestimating how chaotic that parking lot gets on the evenings, especially friday and saturday. Place is right around the corner from me so you can put me down as a yes, but as mentioned....parking can become a huge bitch.

sounds good im done to go but I think 7 is to early im coming from ft lauderdale and dont get off until 6pm will take me longer then 1hr to get there maybe start round 8pm...

I will Probably be there regardless, Duffys is a good time. It can get crowded sometimes, I know there is parking off to the left side of the restaurant usually nobody parks there. Ill head out for a little if we decide to go out. Ill start Pm'ing people.

I know what you mean I think if we park off to the side of the restaurant we will be ok no?

Maybe if we talk to the restaurant they will help us out close off some space of to that left side facing the front. Past valet.

Sounds good guys! I hope to meet some new friends and finally get some free time on a Friday night! Just had a baby 7 weeks ago and haven't really had anytime out since! I will be driving a silver e46 M3 Vert.

if you leave tallahassee around noon and dont stop youll make it right on time. there isnt much to see in orlando anyways.....
