What does this do to the BMW engine warranty? Does AA cover warranty items voided by the supercharger installation?

Of course not. If your dealership is mod friendly they won't void the warranty, but if something happens to your motor good luck getting it covered. I for one would enjoy the car without FI for now and then go that route once the warranty period is over. That is of course if I keep the car past warranty.

Buckle your seat belt next time so we don't have to hear ding-ding-ding over the sound of the engine.

+1 What are the numbers? Want to pull the trigger on new m3 but drove one the other day and it is boring standard! Put your foot down and nothing really happens after 4k.

He'd be bored with that too, his AA charged E46 M3 is putting down some SERIOUS power, runs in the 11's, traps well over 120 as well.

Nothing really happens after 4K? What?

That's where this engine really shines in stock form.

No. But in 8 or 9 years of knowing people with AA turbocharged E36 and supercharged E46 I seriously cannot think of a single blown motor among them.

Burnt clutches? A few. Broken transmissions or blown engines? Zero. I'm not in any way associated with AA, just saying what my recollections are.

FWIW I can't think of any blown up VF or ESS cars, either. My point is really that these cars are built very well.
