black m3 rear emblem help

Anyone done this mod and wanna help me put it on? I wanna do it but im too afraid im gonna put it on crooked.. Im gonna pick up the emblem from IND.

Hey man, the key is to mark it before removing. Id suggest using some masking tape for the bottom or top and one side. Once the old is removed you'll know exactly where to put the new one. Youll also probably need some 3M adhesive remover. Good luck!

yup very easy to do, I just use painters tape on top, side and bottom and then remove the old one and then place the new one

Or replace it with an AMG or GT-R badge and go waaay beyond unique. Most people here in Ohio wouldn't realize anything was amiss!

Yah ill probably order it over the next few days.. then that will be the end of anything chrome on my car as Ive replaced everything else.

Fyi, i have a black badge too and the tricolor peeled off after about a week. Youll get what you pay for with badges. Id suggest getting a painted badge if you can.

results may vary. i had the black and grey sticker on for 4 years and never had an issue. just was careful when washing.

Yeah, mine peeled pretty much immediately and it faded within a short time too. Only had it on for a few weeks, now im allllll black, lol. Maybe i just got a bad one.

IND will paint an oem badge black for you, it's the best way to go.
