Sounds great Good job capturing the exhaust tone. Sound exactly like mine did. Can't beat it for the money but then I upgraded to this.............

I have the ACM exhaust mod with test pipes and its a bit too NASCAR v8 sounding for my liking. I was looking to switch to the Megan exhaust to get a more refined tone and was wondering if anyone has heard both setups? I have seen various youtube videos and the Megan seemed to have a more european v8 sound when mated with test pipes but some of the comments on this thread referring to the megan catback giving a NASCAR tone to the exhaust had me wondering if it is worth the switch?

I have the Megan catback with test pipes on OEM xpipe, it doesn't sound NASCARish at all, and I love Nascar. It has a wonderful high tech howl when you get above 4000rpm.

That sounds exactly like what I am looking for. Looks like I am going to be switching over to the Megan Exhaust. Thank you for your reply!

Thanks. With the test pipes there is more of a howl. Still sounds great though.

I love the sound it makes outside the car, not to crazy about hearing it loud inside the car, so the noise the megan axle back makes is enough for me

What do you mean by it sounding like NASCAR? DId you mean that deep rumble? I'm looking to get TP's first, and see how I like it with my ACM exhaust. If that doesn't work, I'll switch to Megan exhaust as well.

Congrats! IMHO, TP's are a must for this car, especially for me since SC doesn't have inspections. Seen a few videos on YT of the setup you want, sounds crazy.
