weird vibration with new motormounts

Hey guys! Any help would be appreciated. I switched my motor mounts out to the Vibra-Technics street mounts about two weeks ago. After the install everything was fine and there was a slight increase in vibration through the floor and steering wheel like I expected. However, after about 250 miles, between 2k and 3k rpm the car rattles significantly. The only reason it worries me is because its not how it was last week. Do motor mounts need time to settle in? Is what Im experiencing normal? If you need any other info I'm happy to provide anything I can. Thank you so much for your help!

Maybe the mounts are not torqued correctly or seated properly if there is a locating hole.

Sounds like the bolts have come loose to me. Get a visual on them.

Definitely not normal. You should take your car back and let them look if bolts are loose or mounts are seated properly.

what others said above. I have the Vibra-Technics mounts as well and 46000 miles later, it's still the same as the day I put them on. Good luck.

When I put mine in the engine actually sat a little higher causing the exhaust to vibrate against the heat shields. I had to bend some of them back to stop the vibrating. Also recheck the torque on the mounts. I also had to remove one of the o2 sensors as it was vibrating against the frame.

Thanks guys! It has some heat shielding that was making the metalic noise I was hearing which was great to figure out. The more violent vibrations dissipated after I re-torqued the mount bolts. The mounts are incredible and I love the new feel!
