I think my car placement is pretty good. I got there by running up on a lot of curbs.

That's better than where I'm at right now...which is at a big fat plateau. Really not sure where to go right now.

Actually I do know...stop taking passengers for ego-boosting joy rides and start taking an instructor with me instead.

I have a fun problem...being a track junkie. He has a bigger problem...being a crappy coach and horrible offense play caller.

Nice save!

I'm so glad we have several tracks with minimal walls here in Cali.

how do you have so many saves? are these all tracks you are new to and push hard anyway? for me those moments happen when i screw up, keep my foot planted even when the rear starts to come loose, pinch and dont adjust my throttle input, or on tight corner rotate on the brakes hard then go to throttle too soon as well(usually this is on purpose). not01s seem so predictable i cant remember getting loose more then a slight bit before a quick correction and lift doesnt fix it and on video you cant even tell anything happened. i just remember it being a moment.

Motorsport Ranch in Cresson is a bitch and it eats my lunch every time.

There's decreasing radius turns, blind crests, subtle and small camber changes mid turn if you miss is very bad, off camber turns going over hill crests, and most of all...this turn called Ricochet. Its a fast and significantly off camber sweeper. As you can see you are cooking down a pretty long straight. Its tricky because you turn in early and aim the car towards the curbs on the inside like you want to drive over them. Then the car just falls off to the right. If you let up and don't keep adding throttle then you run out of room. This turn is where I really learned to trust using the throttle to rotate the car.

The problem is I'm coming out of the decreasing radius 180 before it faster so I'm having trouble adjusting...god forbid I slow down.

Here's an early example of missing it...

On my phone so will watch later. I get that. The tracks I frequent don't have too many of those sorts of turns. There is ORP which I plan to get to next year with a lot of off camber and blind turns. That kind of stuff is a little scary. It takes me literally 100s and 100s of laps to really know a track. I probably have 1000+ laps at the ridge and 1500+ laps at pacific.

This is the only off camber turn I've encountered that's pretty fast. You enter at about 100-105mph.

I might have driven one at the Nurburgring but I was so scared shitless I couldn't tell the difference.

Funny thing is I don't seem to have the camera rolling when I have excitment. I tend to get others spinning off the track in front of me regularly though.
