I haven't seen it yet! Oooh, a left hand drive version. Looks like he almost lost it coming out of that first corner. X.x

Damn that was some nice driving. He was flying. Nice find Savage!

never seen it, thanks !

pretty impressive, i like to see videos where the tail is not sliding during half of the turn.

He seems to know quite well the ring

Has a better time that sport auto already been reported for a stock M3 ?

If anyone ever doubts just how good the new M3 is compare the two video, M3 v8 vs the R8, it's not difficult to match them up at the start and you will see that they but corner roughly at the same speed and accelerate the same. The M3 is a class act.

- M3
- R8

Please watch it's entertaining.

I just watch both video simultaniously, what I noticed is that the R8 would have to upshift a couple seconds before the M3 would have to, but they would both have to downshift @ the same time (area) I know its all subject to when you start both videos but I got them perfectly matched where they were head to head for most of the track but around 4:30ish m3 was just a tad ahead but not by much...again the R8 would have to shift sooner then the M3...I have very little knowledge of the R8 so I'm not sure what rev's it goes up to or any other technical data, quite frankly I don't care about it...

that r8 was whippin ass around the track.. i think the r8 is still much faster.. and seems to be more shakey due to it being lighter than the m3.. i do see in other vids how close the m3 and r8 are tho..

r8's steering wheel is that skinny? wtf lol

To me the r8 looked more relaxed - less corrective wheel-work required. The M3 is a bargain, no doubt - vs the R8 - but if money were no object...

The R8 will be a great used car buy in 2-4 yrs.
