Dinan 4.10 Limited Slip Differential - Manual (new price)

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Hey guys, I got a new Dinan 4.10 Limited Slip Differential part number: D773-0900

Has not been used, brand new. Im located outside Chicago, local sale would be ideal but I will ship it out. I do not need your stock diff as a core so this saves you $1800.00. From Dinan this is $3399.99 plus if you want to keep you own diff you add $1800.00 so the total would be $5199.99 if you want to keep your own diff.

Looking for $2899.99 plus shipping for the diff, outright and you can keep your current one. OBO

I cant upload pics from work computer for some reason but I have some I can email right now other wise I will post pics up tonight

Thanks
Sahil

I Have no invoice because I didn't buy this from dinan direct. Im thinking of selling my car that is the reason this is for sale now. If this sells then im selling my Ch-r also and then bye bye car. I have the same sn on m3forums.com. I was a active user on that forum when I had my e46 m3. I sold everything for that car on that forum more the 20k worth of parts!

Let me know if there are more questions and if you guys want more specific pics.

Thanks

i dunno if this is a 'Salsbury'-style 2-Clutch Pak like my diffsonline 4.10 ..... but if it is .... this is a GREAT mod ...... how the M should have come from the factory.

Anyone know where DINAN gets their gears for this unit?
Any specs on it? is it an OE diff w 4.10 ring & pinion? or other parts too?

ok I go the diff from a friend who ended up going FI and didn't want the diff anymore. I Called dinan and asked if they mark the gears at all they said no, they dont even mark the case at all. they said the only way to figure out for sure if its the 4.10 U turn the axle gears and see how many times the driveline shaft turns and i did that and it turns a little over 4 turns so its a 4.10 for sure.

Exactly. A lot of us saw that auction on eBay. Can't be many of these floating around. If the OP was the winner of that auction, the winning price was a steal!

Im interested, but I need to see some sort of proof of purchase, when it was originally purchased, from where(Dinan dealer????), and how the warranty works now?
If the seller can get that info up, Im sure many more ppl will be interested.

Also, its a heavy piece, have you thought about how you will be shipping this and the cost?

Thanks.

This is a honest sale, I honestly don't have enough time to mess around with some phony part. I was referencing to the other forums for e46 because I sold many parts for my old car on that forum and was hoping that would give me some creditably here.

stalker idk about that warranty from dinan on this. I can take as many pics as u want of the diff before anyone buys it, I can even make a video of me turning the gears so you can see how many times it rotates to confirm its a 4.10 I am a straight up person and am willing to work with anyone on shipping for this. I will split the cost of shipping with who ever buys the diff.

If this can be shipped to another business address that would be great. The diff itself is around 100 pounds. I can strap it down to a pallet and pack it nice and put it on a FedEx fright truck no problem. I have a many forklifts and it will be a easy job. (im in the shipping biz)

It's great deal no matter what.
I always believe that I'm paying "extra" for warranty (since Dinan products are quite over-priced and this is my way of justifying it).

But warranty will not come with it as Dinan only warranty products purchased from "authorized dealer". So unless seller can get the proof of purchase from his friend, this product will not be covered with warranty.

Again, since the future buyer is not really "over-paying" for the Dinan products at their MSRP, it's fair deal in my opinion.

But I still think that this one is from the eBay. AKA. the deal of the century.

I dont understand why everyone is saying how much u got it from ebay from and etc... if you dont want it then plz dont post here this is a for sale thread not a lets debate thread

This is a new diff at a great price end of story, people here are just wasting time, show me this and that. Do you guys ask for incovices from everything sold on this forum?Im selling a diff for 50% plus off, your not gonna get everything you want. What you will get tho is a brand new Dinan 4.10 diff never used in Perfect condition. No one will ever get a 4.10 diff for this price, im not even wanting your stock diff.
