Want to Trade - 219M fronts for rears
Okay, people never want to pick up 219M (18" OEM E92 M3 wheels) front wheels in a trade. They are always looking to pick up a set of rears, so they can have a square set of 9.5-inch-275s for the track.
But at this point, I have 4 fronts, and I'm looking to trade away 2 of the fronts for a pair of the rears, to make an OEM staggered set. If any of you out there are using 219Ms for your snows, the conventional wisdom is that it is better to have a square set of the narrower rims, because wide is actually a disadvantage when it comes to snow. If you currently have snow tires in the 235/255 setup that Tire Rack recommends for snows, know that you can run the 255s on the 8.5" 219M front rim, no problem. So you'll still be able to use up the rest of your current rubber, and be in a better place when you get your next set. I'm also happy to throw in $60 to cover the cost of getting your 255 snows remounted on my 8.5" fronts, if I can have your rear rims. PM if interested, and thanks! |
