Well done Audi! I really like the new A4 in every way. The only thing I might have an issue with is it's size, but the good thing about that is that when it gets RS treatment the rear legroom shouldnt be as issue

Cant wait to see the S4 and RS4

Have you seen it on the road yet Footie? Here's some pics I managed to find with UK plates on it. Looks great in real-life pics, must look even better in real-life!

Yeah, the S/RS models are starting to look very interesting, especially with the possible inclusion of Sports Diff, adaptive suspension and dare I say it, DSG.

Is there any word on the engine choice for either the S4 or RS4.

Not heard much about either suprisingly! but the S4 seems to be set on receiving a supercharged engine. Here's some info you might be interested in though:

R8 V10 will have a NA engine derived from the RS6 V10. 500-510hp/7800rpm and 520Nm/4500rpm. Engine will be 10kg lighter than the Gallardo 560-4's engine. Gearbox is Manual or R-tronic, there wont be a new 7speed DSG.

Why no DSG? I understand that production sales are limited and this might out-weigh the cost of development, but surely with Porsche also having a major share in VAG group and that includes both Audi and Lamborghini then they too could benefit such a gearbox.

Not feeling the rear... it reminds me of a Oldsmobile.

it does look pretty nice. and weren't there rumors that the S4 would be getting a TT v6 under the hood? it was in another thread, but wasn't mentioned in this one.

can't wait to find out how much it will cost...

hks786, have you, or anyone heard any word on a release date for the v10 in the US?? I've heard before the end of the year, possibly november, but that was months ago, heard similar from the guy at the audi dealership
