2012 Audi TT RS priced from $56,850

http://www.autoblog.com/2011/07/08/2...d-from-56-850/

My guess is this car is going to be pretty well equipped except for the nav and sound system. Sort of how the rs4 was equipped...

Pretty good deal if you are searching for a 1m alternative. Comes in manual only as well.

Price seems high, but the stats and tunability of this thing will make it worth it. Hopefully optional extras are kept to a minimum to keep the price low

Maybe a good buy on the used market when some other sucker has taken that huge first year depreciation hit.

Looks great. My sister just got an S5 and even though my car is faster, there is a solidity to Audi's that just feels nice. Still prefer the driving experience in my 1er, but if I had to pick a car to live in for 24 hours, it would definitely be the Audi.

I second that. Men who drive these things don't realize how stupid they look climbing out of it. Get a fucking S5 for fuck's sake...

I would say that about the old TT, but after seeing it in person, it's quite visceral.

Old tt is a chicks car. This ttrs however, feels like the right kind of car for a petrol head. small, agile and the perfect engine for it.

Looks like the order guide is on the web, however with no prices though.

http://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/2012/...onal-Equipment

Seems like tech and sport exhaust with titanium package are the only major options.

It looks no more like a chicks car than a 911 as both cars share a general shape. I think a lot of the resistance to the car is related to the fact that it was underpowered for so long.

This is very true. And by under powered it was in comparison to other cars of its "caliber".

I'm really tired of cars being labeled when they arn't being marketed like specifically for females. And is it like bmw drivers arn't stereotyped?

ORLY!? Maybe an E92. The only reason the TTRS looks better is cause the spoiler cuts up the classic bubble butt line of a chick's car. Sorry but try again.

And no, the 911 is not a chick's car; the Cayman is. Aesthetics are aesthetics. People who think the 911 is a feminine car < people who think the Cayman is a girl's car. That is a fact. Don't believe me? Make a poll.

I never said anything about the performance so Audi fans don't get butthurt.
