Pulleys and aftermarket subs?!

Anyone running aftermarket pulleys and a 500w to 1000w sub system with any negative side affects? I have been wanting to get pulleys but the fact that the acessories under driven could be of cause to people with aftermarket audio setups.

I have an AA pulley and a XD600/6 running my equipment. No issues.
