How to remove underhood shield
I'm talking about this part:
I've done quite a bit of searching but none have definitively described exactly which screws to remove, how the tip of the bowden cable connects to the car and how I should remove the shield once all the screws and connections have bee removed. Anyone kind enough to help? Thanks. Last edited by mlhj83; 08-15-2012 at 10:54 PM.. |

It's simple. Once your below it, you just remove screws until it comes off really. It's easier to figure out once you have the new part in hand and your removing the old one.

I'm kind of late to the party but the two metal straps that are holding up the piece need to be turned 90 degrees and i believe pushed forward then pulled down to remove. everything else is just removing screws.
