How would you describe the sound of the SS exhaust? Is it audible and intrusive at motorway speed. Do you have just a back box or a complete system?

p.s. I've seen the videos on youtube but quality isn't good so a first hand report would count for more

It is the back box plus 2 feet op piping. Sound level is a bit more than OEM, not at all intrusive at any speed. sound is simply deeper, more V8 like. Should have some footage soon.

Do you have sport or race exhaust?

I am looking for an exhaust that wont change the quality of the original sound, which I find awesome, but just turn up its volume a little bit. Would you say that this is the case with the SS system or is it a totally different sound coming out?

How much does the front splitter drop the car by?

I love that M3, looks so aggressive yet clean. Like the wheels as well.

That's exactly what it is although it does make the sound a bit deeper and fuller. I'll have a clip shortly.

To the same level as the lowest part underneath the front of the car.

I thought so, only it brings that drop forward so to speak but shouldn't be a huge issue. Thanks!

Together with a lowered suspension you have to be careful with speedbumps.

Completely agree. Stock sounds bad ass, but would like a little little more grunt and sound.

Clip Clip Clip....we need a quality audio clip of SS Sport.

Yep, especially those huge ones here in Mexico, you have to take some of these bumps side ways. Crap!!

Uploading a clip to youtube. The higher pitched sound you'll briefly hear in between is from the M3 next to mine. Somehow my car is restricted to 284 km/h or 177 mph, where I expected 270 kmh. Speed limiter will be taken off next week. Will take a while to load it's 75MB. Short clip, but high quality.

usually the M models are limited to 270 kph on the speedo. makes me wonder whether I accidently got the m-package which moves the limiter to 285 kph? It is a non-listed factory option here.

Yep, or could be that the speedo is off! I understand 5% stock and may get worse with aftermarket wheels/tires.

Here's the clip. Enjoy. I will make some clips myself this weekend. Spend more time on the exhaust note. And a guy will do a proffessional photoshoot.

That would be a first. It's also not wheel driven if I am not mistaken. Taken off the ABS I think. But even then the 20 inch have the same circumference as the factory 19's.

You have tires that are 245/30 R20 and 295/25 R20?
